Harwich Town

In a race against an ebbing tide, 08460 has an uphill struggle to unload the Zeebrugge-Harwich train ferry on 25th March 1979. The ferry had arrived almost too late to unload, but after the ship made a smart reversal up to the dock worthy of a newspaper delivery van, the loco was able to nip on and drag the load up the rapidly worsening gradient in the nick of time.
