Haigh
Looking over the concrete pad being created by Balfour Beatty on a works site near the former Haigh Station, standing in the centre background. The pad will provide a solid base to facilitate construction of a new bridge deck to replace the 3.4m high and single lane arched skew bridge, off picture to right, over Haigh Lane; and provide around 300mm of extra headroom.
