Haigh
The two cast on site abutments for the replacement bridge across Haigh Lane have been lifted onto two heavy duty trestles, to have measurements between the two checked for accuracy, prior to lifting of the deck onto the abutments as a further stage to creating a complete bridge unit ready for it to be lifted and piggy-backed into position, and lowered onto solid concrete footings alongside the remaining lower section of the existing stone abutments.
