Earlier than indicated the new Haigh Lane bridge assembly has been transported from its casting and assembly site to left of view, and is seen still being supported above the remaining lower section of the support walls from the removed arch bridge. All looks to have fitted together as required, although the new abutments overhang on the corners where the remaining stonework has a contoured profile to the wing walls.
