Walking northwards from Slaggyford towards Knarsdale Viaduct, we found this elegantly reinforced stone bridge carrying road traffic above; and walkers and sheep below. There is clearly room here for at least one narrow gauge track in future, when the South Tynedale Railway extends again. Highways England please note.
