Kirkby
508136 is seen at Kirkby with the 17.28 departure to Liverpool Central on 24th September 2022. Visually there is no difference between Class 507 and Class 508. The 508s were originally built as a 4-car units but have only been 3-car on Merseyside. Their compressors are more prone to making a loud banging noise and their lights can flash on and off when the contact shoes go over points and cause sparks at track level.
