Headbolt Lane
A new station for Merseyrail. I am sure our much missed contributor John McIntyre would have made the opening day of Headbolt Lane on 4th October 2023, but here it is two weeks later. This stretch of line has had a second track laid again to support Merseyrail services. 777142 is at the platform, next to the staffed ticket office, newly arrived from Liverpool Central.
