Blairenbathie Mine

A view west of the site of the sidings of Blairenbathie Mine, now a forest track. The entrance to the mine and surface buildings were to the right. This mine was developed by the Fife Coal Company in 1945 and was closed by the NCB in 1962, the branch closing between the site and Kelty in 1964. The earlier Blairenbathie Colliery of 1895 was further north and also rail served.
