Woodacre Crossing
An excursion from Leicester to Carlisle, on 13th April 2024, was hauled by Standard 7MT 70000 'Britannia' from Preston northwards. Here the 'Brit' is seen approaching Woodacre with the rake of 'Blood and Custard' stock and D1935 bringing up the rear. Unfortunately, 70000 was later declared a failure at Carlisle.
