Cranley Gardens
The site of Cranley Gardens station, on the former GNR Alexandra Palace branch, seen from a no.134 bus crossing the old line on Muswell Hill Road, on 22nd April 2024. This closed in 1954 after almost becoming part of the LU Northern Line. The flats that stood on the site from the 1970s were demolished in 2023. Some kind of work is going on here now so it seems that the station site will eventually be covered up again by another building but for now is open to view. The entrance building was to the left where the railings now are; the bridge parapet survives.
