Maryport
On the 23rd December 2024 156472 departs Maryport and prepares to switch back onto the correct line as it passes Mayport signal box whilst working the 1108 Carlisle to Barrow-in-Furness. Southbound trains have to cross over on approach the the station at Maryport to access the single platform before correcting themselves after the stop. Despite boasting a large station building in its heyday Maryport has only ever had the one through platform.
