Loanhead
Loanhead signal box in December 1968. In the background can be seen the remains of some of the surface buildings of the former Ramsay Colliery which closed in 1965. This closure followed the opening of Bilston Glen Colliery in 1963 and the extension underground into the area previously worked by the Ramsay.
