Irlam

This 0-4-0ST and three wagons are displayed by Irlam station car park commemorating local industrial heritage. The locomotive was reportedly employed at the nearby soap works, the open wagon is in Ship Canal livery, the tank wagon is liveried for Irlam Margarine and behind that is a tippler from the local steel works. Contrary to many outdoor plinthed railway vehicles these are all kept in superb condition.
