This is an aerial view of the site of Methven Junction, disappointingly. Nothing can be seen at ground level, but a bit of height reveals some crop marks. The view looks north towards Mains of Tippermallo Farm. To the left of the muddy strip on the left, about half way down, is where the line from Crieff came in. The Methven Branch came in above that, just above the nearer trees on the left. Crop marks showing these two approaches can be seen running towards the centre of the view. Another crop mark can be seen running from the farm going down and to the left - this was a track to the farm sidings at the junction. The line to Perth ran off to the bottom right of the view. There were still some scanty remains here until around 2006 when the site was completely cleared.
