Bruce Grove
The bridge carrying the Liverpool Street to Enfield Town line, dating from 1872 and now part of London Overground, over Bruce Grove at its junction with Tottenham High Road with the entrance to Bruce Grove station hard on the pavement by the junction on the left. The bus is ENN 51, route W4 to Tottenham Hale Ferry Lane about to turn right onto the High Road and seen here on the afternoon of Tuesday, 6th September 2024. I can just remember trolleybuses passing under this bridge and along Tottenham High Road when I was very small, shortly before they were all withdrawn in 1961 and the wires removed.
