Greyhound Bridge, Lancaster, which once carried the Midland route to Morecambe over the River Lune. That route was later electrified but it closed in 1966 and the bridge was converted for road use soon after. After fulfilling this onerous role for many years it was more recently fully refurbished and continues to carry traffic leaving Lancaster for Morecambe and Carnforth.
