Johnshaven: Taken during a walk from Johnshaven to Gourdon on the old Bervie branch in March 2021. This one of the abutments of the removed bridge near Lathallan to the north west of Johnshaven,

Darlington Shed: Worsdell NER class J72 0-6-0T 68743 and sister loco 68747 stabled on 51A Darlington Shed on 27 May 1962. The Gresley V3 2-6-2T seen beyond the J72s is believed to be 67601, going by notes from the visit.

Haymarket Goods: The site of Haymarket goods station was used by a coal merchant until the early 1990s, then it lay empty for a while. Here in January 1998 work had started on office development which now largely fills the area. The building being staked out was to be a tax office, tant pis. Haymarket station is in the background.

Elmers End [Tram]: Tram 2556 just arrived at the terminus at Elmers End, on 10th November 2012. From here to just before Sandilands stop, Croydon trams run along the course of a heavy rail line and Elmers End provides an interchange with National Rail's Charing Cross to Hayes line. Trams on the Croydon system no longer carry route numbers.

Galgate: Freightliner 66622 takes empty box wagons from Hardendale to Tunstead on 29th January 2021. The train is passing under the M6 Junction 33 link road, approaching Hampson Lane bridge.

Dundee: Aberdeen bound 170411 approaches a busy Dundee on 15 April 2011. It had been delayed waiting for a southbound service to clear Platform 4 due to a charter service terminating in Platform 1.

Redbridge Viaduct: The re-excavated cutting at Langlee, seen from Winston Road, looking north west towards Galashiels on 4 May 2015 with Galafoot Lane footbridge in the distance. At this stage permanent way preparation work on the Borders Railway was nearing completion, as was much of the landscaping and fencing activity. Crew training turns over the new route began running between Newcraighall and Tweedbank the following month.
