Glasgow Queen Street High Level: No pasaran. Glasgow Queen Street is now well appointed with barriers but those at the Platform 7 end were switched out at the time of this photo. They probably are (or will be) activated at busier times when they can be supervised.

Kentish Town: These delightful Midland Railway canopies once stood on one of the platforms of Kentish Town station, opened on 1st October 1868 with the Midland Railway's London Extension to St. Pancras. They now shelter a pavement cafe where the station entrance used to be. To the right in the background is the LUL Northern Line station, opened as part of the Charing Cross, Euston & Hampstead Railway on 22nd June 1907. Following the closure of the Midland station entrance, a new connection was made from the station footbridge to the LUL ticket hall which now serves as an entrance/exit for both. This view is through the front upstairs windows of a TfL bus on route 134 (North Finchley to Mornington Crescent) on 5th June 2021.

Chippenham: When I saw David Panton's image [[76633]] of a stone bridge in Craigleith with houses beyond, it reminded me of this bridge to the west of Chippenham station, with houses beyond, and a driveway before it on the right. It doesn't look all that similar, but I never said I was perfekt.

Lea Road: This short but pleasant lineside public footpath, from Sidgreaves Lane to Lea Road, will disappear when the new Cottam Parkway station is built on this site. The path originally connected the railway cottages behind the camera with Lea Road station. 195126, working from York to Blackpool, passes on 14th June 2021.
