Darlington [Bank Top]: Early January 1981 at Darlington as 55019 awaits departure with 1E61, the 08.50 Aberdeen - Kings Cross. This was the last year of Deltic operation on timetabled workings with 55019 being amongst the last to go surviving until withdrawal on 31/12/1981.

Tees Marshalling Yard: DBC 66004 in 'I Am A Climate Hero' livery, running on hydrogenated vegetable oil, stands in Tees Yard with a steel train. 66199 and 66197 are stabled alongside.

Berlin Hauptbahnhof: Berlin Hauptbahnhof top level. The train on the left is a Berlin S bahn local train.

Heald Green: Approaching Manchester Airport runway 23R, aircraft pass over Heald Green station (See image [[55815]]). This is the line going north from there towards Slade Lane Junction and then the city itself, whose high rise buildings can be seen in the distance in this February 2024 image.
