Scorton [Lancashire] [2nd]: A trio of former TPE Class 68s running from Crewe to Carlisle pass Scorton on 22nd February 2024. 68021 'Tireless', 68020 'Reliance' and 68022 'Resolution' are the locos and I wondered what the future holds for them?

Hillington East: Fairburn 2-6-4T 42059 comes through Hillington East on the fast line, with a service for the Clyde coast in June 1963.

Blairenbathie Mine: View west, west of Blairenbathie Mine, in an area mined for many years. Blairenbathie Mine operated from the 1940s to 1962. Its headshunt was on the right hand side of the forest track. Curving off to the right was the line to Blairenbathie Colliery, which operated from the 1890s to 1926.

Kirkham North Junction: The Network Rail high speed measurement train makes a change from the usual units at Kirkham on 23rd February 2024. It had worked down from Mossend that morning and was heading for Blackpool North with Colas liveried 43277 in charge. 43257, in faded LNER red, was on the rear from Preston.

Teignmouth: 1046 Western Marquis calls at Teignmouth with the 1710 Paignton to Paddington service. The front end does not have headboard clips as this was the B end that was damaged when 1046 derailed back on the 30 july 1971 at Woodborough hauling the 1420 Theale to Westbury stone empties. 1046 was the last maroon western in service being outshopped blue on the 12th may 1971. But due to the Woodborough derailment found itself back at Swindon Works for crash reapirs Aug 1971 emerging again on the 25th november 1971.
