Bo'ness TMD: BR Standard 4MT 2-6-4T 80105 nears the completion of overhaul in the works at Bo'ness on 25 June 2024.
Leven: 158725 with 158719, just arrived at Leven and waiting to depart with the 11.53 return Scotrail service to Edinburgh Waverley, on Sunday, 2nd June 2024, the first day of services on the reopened line. This is a different site to the station that closed in 1969 and is on a short revived section of the former Leven Dock Railway that never previously had a passenger service.
Garstang and Catterall: 88006 'Juno' (pan up) is working in multiple with 68034 'Rail Riders' as they take a single nuclear flask from Sellafield to Crewe through the site of Garstang & Catterall on the evening of 7th May 2024. The low bridge was once double this width, carrying tracks for the goods yard and the third platform line that Knott End Railway trains used.
Allt Coire Chaorach Viaduct: A remarkably well preserved drain can be found on the south side of the line east of the Allt Coire Chaorach Viaduct.
Cricklewood: Cricklewood shed is host to a large number of freight locos on 26 August 1962, including Black Five No. 44847, ex-Crosti 2-10-0 No. 92022 and BRCW Type 2 No D5382.
Blackpool North: Emerging from the short subway at Blackpool North tram terminus, this is the entrance to the railway station. Easy connections into the Blackpool Trams will at long last be possible with the opening of the short line to public services on 16th June 2024.
Blackpool South: Northern Trains Sprinter 150127 lays over at the Blackpool South terminus for a few minutes after arrival at 16.26 from Colne in June 2023. It will depart at 16.30 to return there. The conductor is stowing the wheelchair ramps that had been used for a passenger, and companion to board and travel to St. Anne's.
Aviemore: 66122 leaves Aviemore with the Inverness - Mossend intermodal, having been recessed to allow a passenger service to overtake on 22 June 2024.
