Eastleigh: SWR 158884, working on the Romsey to Salisbury circuit, calls at Eastleigh on 10th July 2024. This is quite a 'merry go round' service travelling via Chandlers Ford, Eastleigh and Southampton before taking the direct line back to Romsey and continuing to Salisbury before reversing the route.

Lostwithiel: 66068 is seen passing Lostwithiel signal box, with a train load of CDA wagons, on 20th February 2007. Lostwithiel signal box was taken out of use in 2024 and this stetch of line is now controlled by Exeter. The CDA wagons have also been replaced recently and most, bar a few preserved, have been cut up for scrap.

Methil Power Station: NBL diesel hydraulic locos stored at Methil Power Station in 2000, before transfer to the Fife Heritage Railway at Kirkland having been acquired by the Lochty Private Railway. They are works no. 27421 of 1955, previously at RAF Leuchars, and 27591 of 1957, ordered by the NCB and having worked at several Fife collieries.

Dereham: BRCW Class 33 'Slim Jim' Hastings Gauge Type 3 no. 33202, stabled at East Dereham on 12th July 2024. The loco is operational and was scheduled to operate passenger services at the weekend alongside Brush Type 4 47580.

Barons Court: LU 1973 stock, Piccadilly Line to Rayners Lane departing from Barons Court, west London, at 14.57 on Saturday, 6th July 2024. The line here was opened by the Metropolitan District Railway in 1874 with the extension from Earl's Court to Hammersmith but Barons Court was not opened until 1906 when the Great Northern, Piccadilly & Brompton Railway (now part of the much-extended Piccadilly Line), opened here. It is an interchange with the District Line whose trains serve the outer faces of the two island platforms. This train has come in tunnel from Arnos Grove.
