Leven: The new Leven station, looking towards Edinburgh, on the first day of services, Sunday, 2nd June 2024. Like Cameron Bridge, this is also unstaffed and consists of one long bare island platform with just a couple of bus stop style waiting shelters and no public conveniences. This is better than no station at all though, as was the case for 55 years since the line's original closure in 1969, even though it was not mentioned in the Beeching Report.

Ipswich: 755404 pulls away from Ipswich Platform 4 with a Greater Anglia service for Cambridge on 13th July 2024. Of note are the now weed covered sidings to the right of the train. For many years numerous locomotives were stabled here between duties but that function seems to have transferred to the opposite side of the line, to the north of Platforms 1 & 2.

Walthamstow Queens Road: Walthamstow Queen's Road, looking east on the afternoon of Thursday, 25th April 2024. It was originally called simply Walthamstow when it opened with the Tottenham & Forest Gate Railway (from South Tottenham to Woodgrange Park) on 9th July 1894, a relative latecomer. It became Walthamstow Queen's Road in 1968 when Hoe Street, on the Liverpool Street to Chingford line was renamed Walthamstow Central, when it became the terminus of the LU Victoria Line. The original wooden buildings and canopies here were torn down after the line was saved from the Beeching cuts. Today, all that remains of the 1894 station are the walls and stanchions below the footbridge.

Coombe Junction: Coombe Junction station in March 1970. The train is a working from Looe which is reversing at the station prior to continuing to Liskeard. The track on the left was at that time a freight branch to Moorswater and in the background is the GWR mainline to Penzance and behind that a pier from the original viaduct ( 1859 ) which was replaced in 1881.
