Hale: Hauling stone empties from Small Heath near Tyseley to Hindlow Quarry, GBRf 66728 rolls over the level crossing and through the station at Hale on 23rd July 2024.

Camden Road (MR): The site of the entrance to the Midland Railway's Camden Road station, between St. Pancras and Kentish Town, that closed as a WWI economy in 1916 but never reopened. Seen from a TfL bus on route 29 to Trafalgar Square, at 13.43 on Thursday, 4th July 2024. The platforms were in a cutting between two sets of tunnels, just north of St. Pancras and, though demolished, the site can still be identified from passing trains.

Toddington: Rebuilt Bulleid Merchant Navy 4-6-2 35006 'Peninsular & Orient Line' was the working steam loco on the G&WR on 28th July 2024, seen here in Toddington station.

Sheffield: 40013 awaits departure from Sheffield on 7th August 1982 with the 08.15 SO Manchester to Skegness. This train was a magnet for haulage enthusiasts although on this occasion I chose to leave on the Chesterfield to Blackpool, 37 worked via Copy Pit.

Dochart Viaduct: Just south of the old stone Bridge of Dochart at the Falls of Dochart the Killin Railway crossed over a minor road to Ardeonaig. The parapets remain but trackbed has been subsumed to either side.
