Oubeck Loops: Hitachi 'Evero' hybrid 805002, still unliveried, passes the loops at Oubeck with another test run on 25th September 2024. This started at Northampton and ran to Lancaster before returning. Once in full service these set are primarily intended for the North Wales Coast services to Holyhead rather than these northern stretches of the WCML.
Arnos Grove: HA 14 on express route SL1 from North Finchley to Walthamstow Central arriving at Arnos Grove station, LU Piccadilly Line, at 13.26 on Saturday, 5th October 2024. This is one of several new TfL express bus routes, known as Superloop, around the perimeter of the Capital, introduced by the Mayor of London in September 2023.

St Rollox Works: The scrap yard of any works was always a favorite place. Often this was the last chance to see or photograph some long withdrawn loco. As well as the locos there was often much debris and junk about the place. Here are 20207 and 27027 awaiting the cutting torch in July 1984.
