Bounds Green: View from upstairs on a no. W3 bus, crossing the bridge over the ex-GNR main line at Alexandra Palace (formerly Wood Green), looking north with Bounds Green depot on the right, on Saturday, 31st August 2024. The curved single track on the left is the down track to the Hertford North Loop which crosses the main line by the bridge just visible in the background.
South Tottenham: Remembrance roundel, specially decorated with poppies for this year's Remembrance Sunday, at South Tottenham on 24th October 2024. A Class 710 unit, London Overground GOBLIN from Gospel Oak to Barking Riverside, is departing. I have not seen these roundels, so far, on any other station on the London Overground nor London Underground network.
Southport: Picture taken on a Steamport Southport open day in 1982, with static exhibits in Southport station, formerly known as Southport Chapel Street. One of the exhibits was Stanier Black 5 4-6-0 44806 which at that time was named Magpie after the TV show of the same name. There was a regular programme of joint BR and Steamport events in Southport station for several years. See image [[41410]] at a similar one in 1979.
Inverurie: View of Inverurie in the 1960s looking east, with a Sulzer Type 2 (subsequently Class 24) at the head of loco-hauled stock in the platform.
Kidderminster Town: One way and another, a Royal Scot sign is a long way from home at Kidderminster. But it's fun.
Stockport: 67025 propels its rake of five MkIV coaches (plus a DVT) away from Stockport on the final few miles of its journey from Cardiff to Manchester Piccadilly on 2nd October 2024. This Transport for Wales service leaves Cardiff at 0849hrs and is due in Manchester at 1214hrs and is one of several rostered to be worked by the Class 67s as opposed to DMUs. There is a quick turnaround in Piccadilly and it heads back to Cardiff at 1230hrs.
Dalgety Bay: GBRf 66746 passes Dalgety Bay with the Edinburgh - Keith leg of the 'Royal Scotsman' on 7th October 2024.
Crieff Viaduct: This viaduct carried the Crieff and Comrie Railway over the Turret Burn. This is the north side seen from the west bank. The viaduct had two short spans at either end and a longer one over the Turret.
Carlisle: 66506, 66532 and 66565 idling in the sidings alongside Carlisle station on 12th October 2024.
