Bo'ness: Caley 0-4-4T, in plain unlined black, about to uncouple and run round its train to return to Kinneil on 27th May 1984. These were the Swedish coaches that were used in the beginning at Bo'ness.
Glen Douglas Halt: The Blue Pullman heads south towards Glen Douglas Halt, running not long after the empty stock of The Jacobite had passed by.
Glen Douglas Halt: Adding a dash of colour to a largely brown landscape, the Blue Pullman heads south at Morlaggan, on its way from Fort William to Exeter St Davids, on 27th October 2024.

Glen Douglas Halt: The stock of The Jacobite heads south at the site of Morlaggan lineside cottage above Loch Long at the end of another season, with leading 37, Black 5, carriages and a 57 on the rear.
Milton Keynes Central: Milton Keynes at 7.35am - where would I rather be? "Still in bed" would be nice; but fortunately I can now lie in a bit longer, as there is a 6.50 to Euston from Nuneaton, with no changes - a great improvement on the previous status of a 6.29 with two changes, one of which was not reliable. I was nobbled by a security guard after taking this picture - I mentioned RAILSCOT and he seemed to be impressed!
Deansgate: TfW 197019 pulls away from a signal check at Deansgate, heading for Manchester Oxford Road on the way from Llandudno to Manchester Airport, on 2nd October 2024. The line between Deansgate and Piccadilly is always busy but seemed particularly congested on this afternoon.
Clyde Place Quay: PS ‘Caledonia’ at Bridge Wharf in the late 1960s.
Edinburgh Waverley: LNER Azuma 801205 about to depart from platform 5 with the 12.00 to Kings Cross.
Morningside [CR]: The remains of Morningside station in 1979, which closed to passengers on 1st December 1930. The view is looking east and in the background is the site of the NB station which succumbed a few months earlier on 1st May 1930. The line through the station closed on 15th July 1974 when it was cut back from Castlehiill Junction ( the BRB boundary for Kingshill No. 3 Colliery ) to Stirling Road GF.
Crieff Viaduct: View west from Crieff looking to Comrie with the River Earn showing clearly - the railway was to the right of the river running from bottom centre to distant centre.
Edinburgh Waverley: 170394 at Waverley's platform 3 with the 12.14 to Tweedbank.
