Blackhorse Road: Blackhorse Road, Gospel Oak-bound platform shelter, London Overground GOBLIN, at 14.57 on Thursday, 24th October 2024. This station opened in 1981, replacing the original 1894 station on the other side of the bridge carrying the thoroughfare that gave it its name. The resiting finally allowed a direct interchange with the LU Victoria Line station which had opened in 1968. For the first 13 years the two stations were entirely separate, on opposite sides of the road. Interchange passengers had to leave one station, cross a busy road, and then enter the other in all weathers.
