Edinburgh Waverley: COLAS 43303 and 43251 on 1Q26, the Network Rail New Measurement train, passing through Waverley on 5th November 2024.
Doncaster Works: A very clean looking 59001, displayed at the 2003 Doncaster Works open day.
Knightsbridge: View from top of escalator towards the Brompton Road exit at Knightsbridge station, LU Piccadilly Line, during a brief break in the passenger flow, at 13.35 on Monday, 4th November 2024. This station was opened in 1906 but this additional escalator, subway and entrance/exit at the western end was not added until 1934 by the LPTB. It was regarded as sufficiently close to Brompton Road station, between here and South Kensington, to allow that station's closure in the same year.
Cirencester Town: The branch from Kemble to Cirencester Town closed to passengers as from 6th April 1964 with goods traffic lasting a bit longer until 4th October 1965. After standing basically derelict for a number of years, planning permission was approved in 1973 for the conversion of the station forecourt to become the town bus station and this was how it looked in October 1979. No buses admittedly but a few hopeful passengers.
Kirkby Stephen East: Kirkby Stephen East signalbox getting some repairs, as seen from the footbridge in November 2024.
Kelvingrove Tunnel: Looking south under Eldon Street to the bricked-up portal of Kelvingrove Tunnel with the River Kelvin on the right.
Comrie: Some ballast remains, on the trackbed running on an embankment west of Strowan Tunnel.
Liverpool Lime Street: Lime Street station in Liverpool, viewed from St George's Place on 2nd November 2024.
