Paddington: 20205 with 20007 behind, at Paddington on Saturday, 22nd February 2025, waiting to depart at 07.00 with UK Railtours' "Shakespearean Sonnet" tour, round-the-world to Stratford-Upon-Avon via Oxford, Worcester Shrub Hill, Birmingham Snow Hill and Henley-in-Arden. The tour also included visits to the Honeybourne to Long Marston line in the morning and also the MoD line from Fenny Compton to Kineton on the way home.
Appleby: SR Battle of Britain class no. 34067 'Tangmere' providing motive power for the return leg of the second 'Winter Cumbrian Mountain Express' of 2025, running as 1Z87 1418hrs Carlisle to London Euston on 22nd February with class 57 no. 57315 on the rear providing the train electricity supply.
Science Museum: 'Puffing Billy' exhibited at London's Science Museum in February 2025. This is a rather cramped spot for photography, sleeping babies notwithstanding. This locomotive was built in 1814, but 'at least some parts have been replaced'.
