Manor Park: Exterior of Manor Park station, east London, seen from front upstairs windows of brand new electric bus EBD 35 on route 101 from Wanstead to Beckton, at 13.57 on Friday, 17th January 2025. The line here was originally opened by the Eastern Counties Railway in 1839 but this station was not opened until 6th January 1873 by the Great Eastern Railway. The platforms were rebuilt in 1949 for the start of electric services from Liverpool Street to Shenfield and have been extended again, and with a new footbridge with step free access, for when the station became part of the Elizabeth Line in May 2022.
