Newsham: Monday 17th March 2025 was the opening day for Newsham station on the Ashington line and although cold the sun shone brightly. 158850 is arriving on the first day with 2T34, the 14.00 Ashington - Newcastle.

Lucrett (Monks Corner Goods): This is the old station house at Luckett, on the closed line from Gunnnislake to Callington, in March 2012. The railway station and platform were behind the hedge on the left. I think this is now a B&B house.

Newton Heath: Looking down St Mary's Road at Newton Heath, just below the road entrance to the depot, on 12th February 2025. This is the distinctive bridge on the line to Rochdale. It was originally a much smaller brick arch structure but this steel bridge was constructed when the road was widened. See image [[90941]] of this bridge from a passing train.
