Tay Bridge: 800103 makes its way over the Tay Bridge, with the 07.08 Leeds to Aberdeen, on 27 May 2025. I notice that a pigeon has slipped into the extreme left of the shot causing a slight loss of focus in that area.

Arnage: First station after Ellon on the line to Maud Junction, this is Arnage, which although in a remote area stayed open until the line closed to passengers on 4th October 1965. The extended station building survives on the northbound platform, but other homes have been built on the site. See image [[11525]] from a passing railtour in 1974.

Jarrow: On a wee anti clockwise Motherwell to Motherwell, which didn't go exactly to plan, we had a little time and had never been on the Metro so went on a little jaunt to Jarrow and return. Soon to be replaced by more modern units, T&W Metro 4073 is our transport back to Newcastle Central arriving at Jarrow on 13th March 2025.

Welshpool [W and LLR]: This April 2025 view westwards through the Bron-y-Buckley housing estate in Welshpool shows the trackbed of the W&L between the main station, outside the town, and the Raven Square station. I like the short headshunt on the right, which I suspect was installed for the use of a 2-2-0 petrol powered vehicle.
