Hatton [GNSR]: A realignment of the A90 at Hatton completely cleared the Boddam branch station site, apart from the goods yard where Ewan photographed the old green goods shed in 1997 [[0228]]. The old Station Hotel is just off picture to the left and this minor road that now forms a junction once crossed the railway on an overbridge. The housing development meant the old shed was cleared away and there are now few clues for people on the A90 that a station ever existed here.

Tower Hill [2nd]: LU S7 stock, clockwise Circle Line to Edgware Road at Tower Hill, at 14.01 on Saturday, 10th May 2025, which will head towards the camera when it departs. This station opened in 1967 on the site of the short-lived Tower of London station (1882-1884) which was replaced by Mark Lane to the west and renamed Tower Hill in 1946. By the 1960s, this had become dilapidated and was replaced by the present station, back where the original Tower of London station had once stood. The 1884 station is the only station on the London Underground, now abandoned, which I used many times as a boy.

Methil Dock No 1: Footbridge over the line between Methil West Junction and Methil East Junction.

Moy: AZUMA 800111 is the 1E13 'Highland Chieftain' service from Inverness to London King's Cross, southbound at Moy on 2nd May 2025.

Clapham Junction: 378137, London Overground to Highbury & Islington via Surrey Quays, waiting to depart from Clapham Junction, seen from new 701034 South Western Railway, Waterloo to Windsor & Eton Riverside, just departed at 14.42 on Thursday, 17th April 2025.

Auchindachy: Looking reminiscent of a railtour visiting a little used section of line, Class 108 units 53628 and 52053 make their way between Aucihndachy and Towiemore on 31st May 2025 with the 14.30 Keith Town - Dufftown.

Kingshouse Halt: There was a small halt serving the Kinghouse Hotel (extreme right of view), Balquhidder Glen, and Balquhidder village itself, off to the left. This view looks north east. The halt was actually out of shot, below the camera. To get to the platform there was a footpath which ran along the east side of the trackbed from the Balquhidder Glen road.

Eridge: Day one of the Spa Valley Railway 2025 Gala. Visiting from the West Somerset Railway is class 33 D6566, owned by the DPTG. Seen here arrived at Eridge at 1225 hrs on 13th June.
