Ardmore Level Crossing (1858-)

Opened on the Glasgow, Dumbarton and Helensburgh Railway.

Description

There was a signal box here by the level crossing, on the east side of the line south of the crossing. The box closed in 1943, replaced by Ardmore East Signal Box.

The level crossing remains in operation, the railway crossing the minor road to the Ardmore peninsula.
