Description

This is a disused single track 16 arch masonry viaduct which carried the Blackston Junction to Bathgate Lower line just west of Westfield station, the Torbanehill and Bathgate Branch (Monkland Railways). This was built to tap the minerals along the length of the route and connect to existing railways at Polkemmet Junction, Bathgate.

The viaduct is 666 ft long overall and 68 ft high.
