Ballachulish Shed (1903-1964)

Opened on the Ballachulish Branch (Callander and Oban Railway).

Description

This was a timber locomotive shed on the north side of the station at Ballachulish.

It was a remarkable survivor, outlasting the railway's closure for many years, in use as a garage and then completely out of use and standing semi-derelict. It was demolished in 2013.
