Cattermuir CrossingOpened on the Forth and Clyde Junction Railway.
Description
Cattermuir Mill Crossing was a signalled (with home and distant signals) level crossing between Caldarvan and Drymen stations.
A crossing keeper's cottage remains here, on the north side of the former line and east of the road. The body of a grounded wagon also remained until recent years, a chimney still stands.
