This station was never built and not opened. It was intended to have a platform, waiting room, siding with a loading bank and house.
Construction was abandoned in 1915.
Railway construction, which started from Cromarty, never reached this location. Culbokie would have been one of the larger settlements served by the line. To the east one of the larger bridges on the line would have been required to cross An Garbh-allt.
