This was a short lived terminus by the shore and two piers in Findhorn. There was a wooden station building on the south side of the B9011 where the line finished. To the north of this, across the road, was a railway owned warehouse and office. The goods line passed by the station, on its south side, continuing to the two piers. The east pier was served by turnplate.
The Findhorn Railway struggled financially and was taken over by the Inverness and Aberdeen Junction Railway. Unfortunately the harbour suffered from silt building up. The line closed to passengers in 1869 but survived as a goods only route until 1880.
On the north side of the B9011 is 'Station House' ('B' listed), the former railway warehouse at numbers 46 and 48. It is a two storey building, with attic and vehicle entry via an archway to a yard to the north. The site of the passenger station, opposite, is now a small triangle of grass.
