Opened on the Cockermouth, Keswick and Penrith Railway.
Description
This station was in the north of the town of Keswick and had three canopied through platforms. The station adjoined the Keswick Hotel, immediately to the south. The station closed in 1972 but the westbound platform and its canopy remain.
To the west of the station the goods and coal depot were on the south side of the through lines, approached from the west.
Latterly, after 1966, the station was a terminus for the line from Penrith. It closed in 1972.
Going east, the trackbed is now a footpath.
