This goods yard was within the triangle of lines formed by Bellshaugh Junction (to the west), Maryhill Junction (east) and Kirklee Junction (south). The yard was approached from Bellshaugh Junction.

Kirklee Goods Signal Box was to the north on the west to east curve, controlling the east end of a yard whose west end was at Bellshaugh Junction.

Road access to the goods yard was from the south, a ramp running down from Kirklee Road to the south to a weigh bridge.

The site of the goods yard became a garage, 'Callanders', after closure. It is now housing.
