Kirkliston Viaduct (1866-1966)

Opened on the South Queensferry Branch (North British Railway).

Description

To the south of Kirkliston station the line passed over the River Almond. Although built as a double track viaduct it only carried the south end of the loop.

To the south of the station, and north of the viaduct, sidings took off to the south west to Kirkliston Distillery.
