This siding was located on the south side of the goods and minerals only Kelty - Redford Junction line at Capeldrae. It was approached from the west.
Capeldrae Colliery was to the north, possibly worked out by the time the railway opened.
On the north side of the Lochore Branch (North British Railway) were the sidings of Lurgi Gas Plant. A little further east was the yard and loading point of the Westfield Opencast, reached by reversal. (Later replaced by a loading point actually in the yard.)
