Description

This was a small (initially just one blast furnace although a second was opened later) iron works just to the west of Lumphinnans No 1 Colliery. The iron works was owned by A. Christie and Co. It was served by a branch from Lumphinnans Colliery Junction.

The works probably opened not long after the Dunfermline Branch (Edinburgh and Northern Railway) but closed not long after opening. The dates given here are assumed. A brick works was opened between the works and the colliery.
