This Stewarts and Lloyds tube works was bounded to the west by Bridgeton Bank Yard, the north by the River Clyde, east by Dalmarnock Road and south by the Ferme Colliery branch from Rutherglen (Farme Colliery Junction). The works was served by sidings to the south, Menzie's Siding. Further sidings were added on the west and east sides.
It became part of British Steel Corporation's Tubes Division.
The works is closed. The site is now a supermarket.
