Description
This is a single platform station on the East Lancashire Railway [Preserved].
This was formerly a two platform station on a double track line. The main station building was on the southbound platform. There was a goods yard to the south, east side of the line, accessed by reversal. To the north was Brooksbottoms Siding.
The line was singled before closure to passengers in 1972.
