Inverclyde residents raised fears over a landslide near a local railway line. The slip happened on the hillside at Spango Valley, sending earth and mud down in the direction of the Wemyss bay to Glasgow line at IBM. A Network Rail spokesperson said: ^Our engineers have inspected the site. It is a significant distance from the railway and does not pose a risk to train services.^
