This is a disused three arch single track viaduct to the south of Dunscore station which crossed the Cairn Water.

This was a single platform station with a loop. It was about half a mile west of the village and across the Cairn Water. The platform was on the east (village) side. The station building was timber, originally fitted with a platform side awning which was later removed.

It was a small station with a small metal shelter on the platform, short siding and loading bank (approached from west) and station agent's house - all on north side of the line. A road bridge crossed the trackbed east of the station.
