Reddish Shed

Class 40 221 Ivernia, still proudly displaying nameplates, although probably not for much longer, stands outside Reddish depot with one of the Manchester-Glossop-Hadfield Class 506 EMUs behind. Although the shed allocation at Reddish consisted mainly of Manchester-Sheffield-Wath Class 76 electric locomotives the depot had a wheel lathe and so there was always a variety of motive power to be seen here.
